- The TDG Regulations do not apply to dangerous goods in transport solely on land on a road vehicle or railway vehicle if:
- each shipment of dangerous goods is in a quantity less than or equal to 500 kg (1100 lbs) gross mass,
- each means of containment (package) is 30 kg (66 lbs) or less gross mass,
- each means of containment displays all required safety marks and hazard labels, and
- each means of containment is accompanied by a document with only the primary hazard Class listed (following the word “Class”) then followed by the statement “number of means of containment” and a number
