Class 9 – Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods

  • Substances included in Class 9 in column 3 of Schedule 1; or
  • Dangerous goods, products or substances that do not meet the criteria for inclusion in any of the previous 8 Classes and:
    o are listed as Marine Pollutants in Sec 2.7 TDGR
    o Except for asphalt or tar, liquids at a temperature greater than or equal to 100°C or a solid at a temperature greater than or equal to 240°C
    — For Liquids, the UN number and shipping name are UN3257 ELEVATED TEMPERATURE LIQUID, N.O.S.
    — For Solids, the UN number and shipping name are UN3258 ELEVATED TEMPERATURE SOLID, N.O.S.
