- There are two types of labels:
- Hazard labels (refer to classification section of this training program)
- Handling labels, which are not necessarily required by the TDG Regulations but may have been applied to ensure compliance with the regulations governing other modes of transport (i.e., Air or Sea travel)
- The primary risk label must be displayed along with any applicable subsidiary risk labels, if required
- All hazard labels (both primary and subsidiary alike) must bear the appropriate class or division number in the bottom corner of the label
