- Substances in liquid or solid form that can cause severe skin damage when in contact with living tissue or, in the case of leakage will materially damage or even destroy other goods or the means of transport.
- Class 8 substances are assigned to one of the three Packing Groups based on human experience or laboratory tests. There are no Divisions for Class 8.
