Lithium Batteries TDGR 4.10 (b.1) and 4.24
-Packages containing lithium cells or batteries prepared in accordance with special provision 34 must bear the Lithium Battery Mark .
- The mark must indicate:
- The appropriate UN number preceded by the letters “UN”, i.e. UN 3090, UN 3480, UN 3481, etc.
- If the package contains cell/batteries assigned to different UN numbers then all applicable UN numbers must be indicated on one or more marks.
- A telephone number for additional information.
- UN3090, LITHIUM METAL BATTERIES,
- UN3091, LITHIUM METAL BATTERIES CONTAINED IN EQUIPMENT or LITHIUM METAL BATTERIES PACKED WITH EQUIPMENT,
- UN3480, LITHIUM ION BATTERIES, and
- UN3481, LITHIUM ION BATTERIES CONTAINED IN EQUIPMENT or LITHIUM ION BATTERIES PACKED WITH EQUIPMENT
